T2 clearomizer long wick

I don't know if this has been the way the whole time, but in the T2 I bought last week, the mechanism on the inside of my tank is slanted a little. The screw in bottom of the tip doesn't completely covered the mechanism on the inside, and sometimes when I suck in it sounds like there's liquid on the inside, a problem I didn't have before

have you tried maybe bending it a little bit back and see if it goes?
