Noticing a trend with the vivi novas

Post  Vape Ninja on Fri Apr 26, 2013 4:40 pm

Ok I'm not new to e-cigarettes I know about adjusting the voltage and the resistance heads and all that. I've been using a 2.4 ohm head on about 4.0 watts of power on the vivi novas and i'm noticing that when I go to vape I'm getting a harsh burnt taste that irritates my throat. What I am I doing wrong??? Also I just brought a brand new Turquoise see-through vivi nova and it is already happening, no matter what vivi nova i'm using it does it. I wash my tanks regularly and everything!! P.S I was using 2.4 head on 4.0 watts for a long time before with no issue!!

Hey Ninja, are you still having problems? I find with my vivi novas, that by even adjusting by- .1 volts the flavor will change drastically. Sometimes the wicks arnt getting enough juice fast enough to the coil which is why it will taste burnt. Higher PG juices will cause this, so if you have changed youre juice recently just try turning down the volts a little and see how it is. cheers

Thanks for the help I'm gonna try that. I use the vape juice from the dojo which I believe is a 70vg 30vg blend. So far it seems to not have that burnt taste will let you know if it still does. Very Happy

I used to always keep my vivi tanks filled because Iv noticed when it got low towards the bottom the coil would burn because it pulled juice up all that way
