Ok. . i feel stupid.

Yes both batteries are fine. When i dissassembled the tank. .the head that was in there already seemed to be a little loose. . .and it took about a quarter turn. It is working fine now. Might be a good thing to warn people to check to see everything is tight before they fill or try to use a Nova or a similar rebuildable.
